The Role You will work as part of the Customer Service team at City Hall and be responsible for administrative tasks, including working with the public to answer inquiries, accepting and processing payments, balancing daily cash receipts, processing revenue and deposits, and other duties as assigned. This position will also work on projects that support improved efficiency within the department.
The Candidate We are seeking a student with excellent demonstrated public relations and customer service skills as you work closely with the citizens of Sarnia.
Term Please note that the anticipated term of employment will be:
- May 4, 2026 – August 28, 2026
Successful candidates will be expected to be available for the full duration of the employment term.
Mandatory Orientation Additionally, all student employees must be available to attend mandatory orientation, which will be scheduled as follows:
Requirements - Completed one-year of an Office Administration college program
Hours of Work - 35 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
